Orders are dispatched every Tuesday - the cut off for orders is 9pm each Saturday. If you are planning on buying for a special occasion or specific date please pay attention to the day of the week on which you are placing your order.
All orders are dispatched with Royal Mail, with 1st and 2nd class delivery options available at the checkout.
WHAT’S THE SHELF LIFE LIKE?
Our unique recipe means our creamy chocolate fudge has a shorter shelf life than fudge you can find on the shelves of your local supermarket. All products are made fresh to order each week, with a ‘Best Before’ date of 17 days from manufacture.
WHAT’S YOUR PLAN FOR SINGLE-USE PLASTICS?
We’re proud to consider ourselves an environmentally conscious business, and have managed to substantially cut down on our use of single-use plastic packaging over the last few years. All our outer packaging & sticker materials are responsibly sourced, made from recycled materials and are compostable at home. Our takeaway packaging & serveware is also environmentally-friendly - we use compostable paper bags, wooden cutlery & recycled cardboard boxes at all the festivals & events we trade at.
We’re currently working towards a solution to our single-use inner packaging - the plastic bag that keeps our fudge fresh and sealed inside our retail & gift boxes. We’re continually searching for the best ways to trade with minimal environmental impact, and hope to be a single-use plastic-free business in the near future.
ARE ALL FWDGE PRODUCTS HANDMADE?
Yes! Each and every batch of creamy chocolate fudge is cooked up by hand in the Fwdge kitchen using fair trade chocolate & finest quality ingredients. We’re committed to including as many locally sourced, artisan Welsh ingredients as possible.
I’M GLUTEN/DAIRY INTOLERANT/VEGAN, ARE THERE ANY FWDGE PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR ME?
Each listing in the online shop displays a product’s ingredients and allergens. All are suitable for vegetarians, many are suitable for gluten-free diets, and there are one or two vegan options too. Please note that all Fwdge products are made in a facility that handles & stores nuts, peanuts, wheat, eggs, soya, milk, and therefore we cannot guarantee your order will be completely free of these allergens.
